This season marks our 20th year as French Alps specialists - we've added more exciting resorts and accommodation to our programme to offer you the widest choice of French Alps resorts!
In the 20 years since Peak Retreats was founded we've produced lots of brochures, been fortunate enough to win many awards and, both ourselves and you, our clients, have had plenty of fun on the slopes. We'll be celebrating with our team in Portsmouth, where most of us are based. Some of the team have been with us since almost the very beginning! We've added lots of new resorts and accommodation along the way, but we've kept our original unspoilt alpine resorts, such as Samoëns, Les Carroz and Saint Martin de Belleville, at the heart of our programme.
Looking back...
We've been encouraging our clients to discover unspoilt French alpine resorts from the very beginning. Far from the madding crowd, these are traditional resorts that we love for their authentic French feel, cosy restaurants and bars, brilliant skiing, and warm and welcoming atmosphere - resorts that we wanted to share. Our first brochures show how far we've come as a company, with you, our clients, at the forefront of everything we do. We've been so touched by the support we've received over the years whether that's through votes for awards, feedback from happy clients, or entries to our Winning at Winter challenge showing how much fun you've all been having on the slopes. Thank you!
Whilst our brochures now take on a very different look, the same DNA can be found within - you'll see many of the original resorts from our very first brochure still featured, such as Samoëns, Val Cenis and Vaujany.
This season's brochure covers everything you'd expect, a selection of our favourite resorts, as well as new additions, and as always, the inside track from our ski experts with their suggestions and tips for you, our clients.
For our 20th year, we've added the popular high-altitude resorts and accommodation featured by our sister company, Ski Collection to our programme. Ski Collection has been offering high-altitude ski holidays to the French Alps since 2005. By offering all these under one roof, we now offer the widest choice of French Alps resorts, which further cements our position as French Alps specialists. Resorts like Val Thorens and La Plagne, which join our existing range of more traditional resorts in the 3 Valleys and Paradiski, allow clients to enjoy beautiful skiing and conditions from the very beginning of the season to the very end, whilst also encompassing the unique après-ski atmosphere for which high-altitude resorts are known. The additions also mean our range of premium properties has expanded, from stunning standalone self-catered chalets on the slopes (like La Cascade in Arc 2000), to luxury self-catered apartments like those at Chalet Cocoon in Val Thorens.
