Aerolive - La Plagne
For a completely unique experience, head to La Plagne this winter - Aerolive looks like an ordinary gondola... but it has no sides! You'll be harnessed into the cabin, and feel at one with the elements on this 20 minute gondola ride. Two of these specialised cabins will operate on the Glaciers gondola this winter. Not one for the faint-hearted but an extraordinary world-first!
New wellness area - St Martin de Belleville
Brand new this winter, St Martin de Belleville will have a new wellness centre in the village, with a beautiful indoor pool! Just a short walk from the village, enjoy the brand new facilities with outstanding views of the valley below!
Also new in St Martin this winter, there's a new observation deck and picnic area at 2500m, also with stunning views, and fun slides for kids!
Emily in Paris... in Megève! - Megève
Are you dreaming of your own 'Emily in Paris' moment? The latest season featured scenes set in the stunning resort of Megève, and what better time to experience for yourself! Why not try out the new rooftop bar at the Grand Hotel du Soleil d'Or - ideal for soaking in the views, just like Emily!
La Bascule Giant Swing - La Clusaz
Situated at 1860m on the Balcon des Aravis terrace, this brand new activity is another that isn't for the faint of heart... Grab two of your friends and take on this giant swing - with two intensity levels, the dare-devils can even depart at a 90-degree angle!! A great, but very different way to enjoy the beautiful views...
Snow front improvements - Méribel
Méribel is continuing its effort to improve its snow front this winter, making it easier to navigate with some improved facilities! Designed with beginners, children and families in mind, this will include a free protected ski area and a new dedicated sledging zone!
Kédeuze Gondola Renovations & 10 Years of the Oasis Cool Zone - Les Carroz
Twenty years on from the first turn of the cable, the Kédeuze Gondola is back with a new look. Whilst the framework of the cabin will stay the same, the uprights are being painted, new windows are being put in, as well as new bench seats, adding vents and adding a new logo. Each cabin now has a new look, ready for another 20 years of service!
Another birthday in Les Carroz; 2024 marks the 10th birthday of the Oasis Cool Zone, the resorts '100% fun spot'. This fun zone is ideal for beginners, freeriders, family or friends, as there is something for everyone! Whilst there are varying ski activities to take part in, it's also home to picnic tables, deckchairs and pouffes ideal for sunbathing under the palm trees! To celebrate in style, the Cool Zone will be decorated with the special 10th birthday logo, with personalised gifts being handed out to families who come to enjoy a break under the palms. There will be competitions, DJ sets and festive events on 9th, 16th and 23rd of March 2025.
40 years of San Bernardo ski area - La Rosière
This winter, La Rosière celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Espace San Bernardo ski area. This unique ski area has connected La Rosière in France with La Thuile in Italy since 1984, meaning this winter there is sure to be lots of celebrations in resort!
New Transarc gondola - Les Arcs
This season brings a brand new Transarc gondola, from Arc 1800 up to the Col de la Chal at 2600m. This new project with take just 13 minutes, compared to the previous 20, and also boasts green initiative! The upgrade includes solar panels integrated into the gondola stations.
NEW Jandri 3S Gondola - Les 2 Alpes
Les 2 Alpes resort is continuing it's upgrades this winter, following upgrades to the Vallée Blanche sector last season! Brand new this winter, the original Jandri Express cable car, dating back to 1985, is being replaced by the brand new Jandri 3S. This new gondola takes skiers from the bottom of the pistes, to the top of the ski area, with not only double the capacity (from 1,700 to 3,000), but also HALVES the time it takes to reach the glacier. A new record time of 17 minutes, compared to the original 40. Using innovative technology, two support cables and one haul cable, this new gondola has greater stability and wind resistance, compared to conventional gondolas that use a single cable. Ideal for those looking to enjoy the sights and slopes on the top of the glacier at 3600m!
