Or why not benefit from an extra day in the mountains before and/or after your holiday? Spend Friday night in a hotel close to your resort (Lyon, Chambery, Chamonix, Grenoble, Annecy...) and enjoy a full day discovering the area before checking into your accommodation on Saturday afternoon.
