Loisium wine & spa hotel | Champagne

Located in Mutigny in the famous Champagne region, half-way between Reims and Chalons en Champagne and a few kilometres from the champagne houses of Epernay and Aÿ (home to Bollinger), Loisium is a stylish modern concept hotel that creates a fusion of wine, design, spa and gastronomy.

The hotel was designed by Parisian architects Jouin Manku who were inspired by the natural beauty of the site overlooking the vine covered hills of the Champagne region. Floor to ceiling glass features throughout the design of the hotel ensuring that there is a constant visual connection with the surrounding forest and valleys and hillsides covered in a sea of vines. Sustainability is at the heart of the hotel’s ethos.

Gastronomy: The hotel boasts a champagne and wine bar, the appropriately named Les Bulles, which translates as bubbles, and a restaurant, L’Horisium, a light-filled brasserie with an open kitchen and large windows framing the magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards. The creative menu features regional specialities with an international dimension where abundant fresh local produce is paired with champagne. Fostering links with talented regional producers reflects the sustainable ethos at the heart of Loisium. The menu highlights the proximity of producers showing their distance from the hotel.

Enjoy a unique experience with the hotel’s expert sommeliers at a commented tasting of three cuvées of champagne and food pairings.

The spa: The expansive 1000m² spa, Spa Club by Saint Charles Apothecary, has a beautiful year-round heated outdoor pool with views over the surrounding countryside, a sauna, vineyard lawn, a fitness room with views over the vineyards and forest, and treatment rooms. The spa also has a champagne bar.

Loisium has 95 rooms and 6 suites all have floor-to-ceiling windows with views over the vineyards or the forest. Warm tones from natural materials; oak, wool and linen, create an inviting atmosphere in which to unwind, bringing nature into the hotel.

All rooms have a minibar, Nespresso® Coffee Machine, complimentary WiFi, hairdryer, safe and rainfall shower. Suites also have a bath. To make your stay even more comfortable, bathrobes, towels and slippers are provided.

Classic room (23m²) sleeps 2 with forest view (can accommodate a child up to the age of 3 in a cot)

Prestige room (23m²) sleeps 2 with vineyard view (can accommodate a child up to the age of 3 in a cot)

Junior suite (34m²) sleeps 2 adults & 1 child with balcony and vineyard view (can accommodate a child up to the age of 3 in a cot, provided, OR a child under the age of 12 in an extra bed, supplement payable).
