The 4* chalet-style hotel Neige et Roc offers the perfect opportunity to sample French village life. The village centre of Samoens and its shops are only a short walk away. The free resort shuttle bus to the Grand Massif Express gondola, which takes you to Samoens 1600 where the skiing starts, stops right in front of the hotel.
Owners Françoise & Olivier Deffaugt take pride in welcoming guests to their charming family-run complex. The hotel of 30 bedrooms and the small residence of 18 self-catering studio apartments are beautifully arranged over two chalets, situated on the edge of the village.
The hotel Neige et Roc has all the feel of a traditional Alpine chalet with its exposed timber and extensive use of bright pinewood. Combining authentic style with excellent modern comfort, Neige et Roc offers all the ingredients for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The 34 prettily decorated and well-appointed bedrooms are spread over three floors, each with a balcony offering views of the valley and mountains. A choice of twins, doubles or interconnecting rooms is available – all with en-suite bath or shower. WiFi, satellite TV, hairdryer and safe in all the rooms. Available on a bed and breakfast basis or half-board with dinner (for a supplement).
There are two suites (c 45m2) with a king-size double bed or two 1-metre wide beds, a living room with a sofa bed, bathroom with bath and Italian-style shower and a spacious walk-in closet.
The tastefully arranged studio apartments sleep 2-3 in 22-28m2. Studios sleeping 2 have a double bed, studios sleeping 2-3 have 2 single beds and a pull-out bed. All studios have a small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, 2-ring electric hob, kettle, toaster, electric coffee marker and small oven; satellite TV, hairdryer and safe, a bathroom with bath and separate wc and a balcony. A studio with an extra en-suite bedroom is also available for 4-5 (balcony in each room). WiFi in all apartments.
