Les Balcons du Recoin

The great value Balcons du Recoin enjoys probably the most convenient location in Chamrousse 1650, at the foot of the slopes, just 50m from the Croix gondola, the Tourist Office and the bars, restaurants and shops, including a small supermarket.

Apart from breathtaking views across the spectacular Belledonne range, the Balcons du Recoin offers good standard of well-maintained, modern accommodation: the range of apartment types, sleeping from 2 to 7 guests, make the residence equally suitable for couples, groups of friends and families.

With just 19 apartments, the residence is relatively small, although it offers a reception (from where loan of highchairs, cots and raclette sets may be arranged, subject to availability), ski lockers plus free WiFi in reception. Public car parking 50m from the residence (pay locally).

The apartments are well-appointed and simply furnished in a contemporary style. They all have a fully equipped kitchen with cooker with 4-ring ceramic hob, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and kettle; spacious living area with sofa or sofa bed depending on apartment, TV and mini HiFi; bathroom with shower and wc; balcony.

To pay locally:

  • Local tourist tax,
  • End of stay cleaning (except the kitchen area and the beds must be stripped): duplex apartments for 6 or 7 people: €100, 6-person apartments: €90, 4-person duplex apartments: €75, 4-person apartments: €65, 2-person apartments: €55,
  • Rental of sheets double €17/bed, single €12/bed, towels €10pp,
  • Pets welcome €59/week.

Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel LeShuttle crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. £15 each way supplement for high cars (above 1.85m) will also apply. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £420.
