Hameau des Airelles

These apartments offer doorstep skiing and are 200m from the Chalvet cable car. Facilities include an outdoor heated pool, a spa with hot tub, sauna and steam room and a dedicated space for teens.

Le Hameau des Airelles is ideally located by the slopes on the Chalvet side of the ski area (doorstep skiing, snow and level depending), 200m from the Chalvet cable car and 500m from the main resort centre. It is in the newer 'Obelisque' area of Montgenèvre, which boasts high-standard residences, chalets, ski school desk and snow kindergarten. The residence appeals equally to families and couples and groups of friends, offering a truly authentic experience of a French skiing holiday.

The traditional style residence, incorporating 175 apartments, is arranged around the outdoor heated swimming pool.

Facilities at Le Hameau des Airelles include:

  • Free access to the outdoor heated swimming pool,
  • There is also a wellness centre offering a range of beauty treatments and massages (payable),
  • Aqua Relaxation area (for over 18s only) with hot tub, sauna and steam room (pre-booked sessions only. One free access per day per person for use before 4pm only - pre-booking compulsory),
  • A spacious lounge area with open fireplace (regular evening entertainment/events programme provided by the residence’s own staff),
  • Covered car park (pay locally, limited spaces, state at time of booking, 1m90 max height),
  • Ski room,
  • Laundry room (pay locally),
  • Luggage room,
  • There is free WiFi available in the common areas (low speed), apartments and reception area,
  • Bread/pastry delivery service (pay locally, order at reception). 

Childcare clubs and facilities:

  • Team Kids - kids club for 4-6 year olds with outdoor games and indoor activities. 5 half-days included in French school holidays (full days included (lunch not provided) outside of French school holidays, extra sessions payable, sessions are 9am-12 noon or 2pm to 5pm, plus two evening entertainment sessions (7.30pm-10pm), subject to availability, pre-booking mandatory, state at time of booking). Please note most activities are in French,
  • Team Juniors – activities for 7-10 year olds – outdoor games and indoor activities, 5 half days included in French school holidays (full days included (lunch not provided) outside of French school holidays, extra sessions payable sessions are 9am-12 noon or 2pm to 5pm, plus two evening entertainment sessions (7.30pm-10pm), subject to availability, pre-booking mandatory, state at time of booking).   • After Ski activites include After Ski fun (kids entertainment show, sport games, plus more) and After Ski Snow (snowball fights, torch descent plus more), After Ski Gourmand (crepes and gauffres and more delicious treats).

Facilities available from Reception include loan of board games, books, hairdryers, cots, highchairs potty and changing mats (subject to availability, state at time of booking), fondue and raclette sets. Reception can help with arranging babysitting, restaurant or taxi bookings, guiding.

All the apartments at Le Hameau des Airelles are fitted and furnished to a high standard of comfort and convenience. They have a living area with a double sofa bed (making 2 single beds), a fully equipped kitchen area with ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, and combi-microwave oven. Bathroom with bath and separate WC. All apartments have a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and a balcony or terrace. Some apartments are available for people with reduced mobility (on request, subject to availability).

Premium type apartments (see below) are well-situated with great views, have superior decor, and additional equipment such as raclette set, fondue set, Nespresso machine etc. Additional services are also included; early check-in, welcome pack, parking space and heated ski locker.

Prices include

Bed linen with beds made on arrival (except bunks, sofa bed), towels, and end-of-stay cleaning. Free access to pool, Wi-Fi in the reception area and in apartments (limited bandwidth). One (one person, once) complimentary access to spa area (hot tub, sauna, hammam) per 1 bedroom apartment per week, two for 2 bedroom, three for 3 bedroom.

To pay locally:

  • Refundable deposit c.€300-€500 depending on the size of the apartment,
  • Local tourist tax c €1.50pp/day (18yrs),
  • Kitchen area cleaning if not left in perfect order €100,
  • Pets welcome €70/week (max 1/apt),
  • Early check-in option: Apartment available at 12pm instead of 5pm €89/apartment during school holiday; from €60 during other periods (subject to availability),
  • Mid-week cleaning (except kitchen area) with towels and linen change €55-€85/apt,
  • Grocery deliveries available in your apartment the day of your arrival and Christmas pack available to order in advance: please enquire for details.

Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel LeShuttle crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates (see below). £15 each way supplement for high cars (above 1.85m) will also apply. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £460.

We are still working on 2025/26 season supplement dates for Eurotunnel. We will have these in due course. Please use the above as a rough guide for when supplements may apply, but this is subject to change due to peak date amends. For example, it's likely that Easter week of 28/03/26 will be subject to a supplement in addition to the week after.
