January 2023We loved the fact that the bus went from right outside the apartment building, that was a big plus.
The loan of cots (cot linen not provided), high chairs, changing mats, socket mats and bottle warmer (all subject to availability, max 1 of each per apartment; state at time of booking), board games, fondue and raclette sets are available from Reception.
All the stylish apartments at Les Chalets d'Angele are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. They have a living area with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen area with a multi-function oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, mixer, steamer, bathroom or shower room with hairdryer and wc (sometimes separate). All apartments have satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (free for first device) and a balcony.

Prices include:
Fully equipped apartment, bed linen (beds made on arrival except sofa bed in lounge), towels (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel/pp), tea towel, cleaning kit and end of stay cleaning (excl kitchen area and washing up).
To pay locally:
- Refundable deposit c €400,
- Local tourist tax c.€2.30pp/day (+18yrs),
- To hire: extra towel set €12, bathrobe €10, extra cleaning kit €8. Pool kit including 1 pool towel and disposable flip-flops €7,
- End of stay cleaning including kitchen & dishes (price to be requested at reception),

Ski school:
Please note that there are several meeting points for the ESF ski school in Châtel. Depending on the ski level and the time of the season the meeting points varies. Pré la Joux is the furthest away from the residence whilst Super Châtel is the closest. Both are accessible by free ski bus. For Pré la Joux it involves changing ski bus in the village but it is very straightforward.

Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel LeShuttle crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. £15 each way supplement for high cars (above 1.85m) will also apply. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £420.
